Hiking Snowmass on a rainy day | Elk Camp Summit trail

posted in: Hiking, Xperience | 0

The weather this week hasn’t been the most summer looking, but in Colorado, that doesn’t seem to stop people from enjoying the nature and outdoors.  A few days ago I went on a little local adventure, and hiked the Elk Camp Summit trail. The clouds made the views of the village even more so beautiful, even though they hid everything on the other side, leaving Aspen, the Bells, etc behind a layer of gray. Still a nice, intermediately steep hike, perfect for getting an exercise in the outdoors. From the top, taking the lift down is free!
